Director James Comey, the head of the FBI, has cleared Hillary Clinton. There is much rejoicing in Brooklyn, at the DNC and in all levels of the Liberal Democratic political machine.
I condemn the decision by Director Comey in the strongest possible terms. Director Comey’s statement detailed the chain of classified information that was mishandled by Secretary Clinton and her staff. The potential exposure was significant. Director Comey clearly stated,
“Given that combination of factors, we assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal e-mail account.”
The Director however explicitly stated
“To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now.”
Why not now?
President Obama went on national television and said he had full faith there was nothing here ?
President Clinton just happened to meet the Attorney General for a private meeting last week?
My last duty station was the USS Wadsworth, FFG-9. I was the Communications Officer and responsible for all the message traffic on and off the ship. Without a doubt had I been as reckless as Secretary Clinton, with the classified information, I would have been arrested, convicted and still be serving time in Fort Leavenworth.
This decision, unfortunately, proves there is one standard for the little guy and different one for the political elites. It pains me to quote Bernie Sanders, but the game is rigged. My faith is shaken in the basic tenets of our government.
